Best 65-inch OLED TVs under $1,000

Start with the LG C5. It's the one to beat: a 65-inch OLED with the brightest, most balanced picture of the group, the widest spread of stores selling it, and the strongest owner ratings — the safe pick if you want one TV and no regrets.

Who the others suit:

• LG B5 — same OLED look for less; you give up some peak brightness, so it's the pick for a dimmer room or a tighter budget.
• Roku Pro Series OLED — best if you live inside Roku's interface and want its smart-TV simplicity.
• LG OLED 65B5 — a second B5 listing; worth a look only if it's genuinely cheaper where you buy.

Check the listing is the 65-inch model before you buy — some of these come in several sizes.
