Is it really a deal?

Paste a link to any product, or type its name. We'll find the exact item at every big store right now, compare your price, and check whether the "was" price holds up.

Free, no signup.

What it checks

The exact item, strictly

An AI check reads every store's own listing title and keeps only the identical item: same model, size, capacity and generation. Colour can differ.

Every big store at one moment

Up to 13 stores Google Shopping lists for the product, all read at the same moment, so the comparison is fair.

Only prices you can actually pay

New, sold by the store itself, at a plain price. Marketplace sellers, resale shops, open-box and coupon or membership prices are left out.

The “was” price

When your store shows a "was" price, we check whether any store is charging that right now.

What checking finds

From our live Black Friday price study, the same item, new, at the same moment on November 6.

Questions

How can I tell if a Black Friday deal is real?+

Compare the identical item at other big stores at the same moment, and check whether the “was” price is something any store actually charges. In our November 2026 study of identical products at big US retailers, checking one store picked at random averaged 15.6% above the lowest listed price, while checking three cut that to 3.7%. The deal checker does that comparison for you, across every store Google Shopping lists for the product.

What does a “was” price mean?+

It's the higher price a store shows beside its sale price, such as “was $529.99” or “usually $250”. Stores set it themselves, and it isn't always what they or anyone else recently charged. The checker shows how many stores charge that price right now.

Which stores does it check?+

Every store Google Shopping lists for the exact product, up to 13 at once, from Best Buy, Target and Walmart to brand stores and specialists. Amazon usually isn't among them. To compare Amazon too, ask our shopping agent on the homepage.

Why are some stores left out?+

Only the same item, new, sold by the store itself at a price anyone can pay, is compared. Marketplace sellers, resale shops, used or open-box items, listings that are a different size or model, and prices that need a coupon, membership or payment plan are left out, and counted on the result.

Is it free?+

Yes. No account, no extension to install. Each result gets its own page you can share.

Bought it already?

Many big stores refund the difference if their price drops after you buy. See each store's 2026 holiday price-drop and return rules, from their own policy pages.
