Best gifts under $25

Top pick: the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Cute Hamster with a Flower. It's the safest gift on this list — a real brand, a build that takes an hour, and a finished model anyone would keep on a desk. Works for kids around 7 and up, and honestly for adults too.

Who the rest suit:

• Dove and AXE gift sets — easy, no-size-needed gifts for a coworker, teacher or Secret Santa.
• Rotating eternal rose box — for a partner or a mum; it looks far more expensive than it is.
• Personalized mug or "pocket hug" keychain — when you want the gift to feel made for one person.
• Glass flower gift box — a small add-on to tuck beside a bigger present.

Skip the printed blankets and holiday sweatshirts here: the ratings are weak and sizing is a gamble.
