Best Google Pixel Buds

Start with the Pixel Buds Pro 2. It's the newest Google pair and the one reviewers rate highest: a smaller, more secure fit, Google's Tensor A1 chip and Silent Seal 2.0 noise cancelling, with up to 8 hours of listening with ANC on. If you want Google's earbuds and nothing else, this is the one.

• Pixel Buds Pro (first gen): still a solid, cheaper way into Google's ecosystem — pick it if ANC and fit matter less than spending less.
• Pixel Buds A-Series: the budget pick for casual listening; no top-tier noise cancelling.
• Sony WF-1000XM6 / Bose QuietComfort Ultra: the alternatives if you're not tied to Google and want the best noise cancelling.
• EarFun Air Pro 4+: a low-cost ANC option that punches above its price.
