Top pick: LG C5 OLED evo (55") — the sweet spot. The C-series is LG's mainstream flagship line, and the C5 gives you the brightest, most contrast-rich picture of anything here, with four HDMI 2.1 ports for consoles and a 120Hz panel that makes sport and games look smooth. If you want one TV that does everything well, this is it.

Who the others suit:
