Best OLED TVs under $400

The honest answer: real OLED under $400 is rare. OLED panels cost more to make than LED, so almost nothing new lands in that range — and the few listings that look impossibly cheap are third-party sellers I wouldn't trust for a TV this expensive to ship and warranty.

What I'd do instead

• LG OLED 65B5 — the pick if you can stretch: 4K OLED, 120Hz, the α8 processor. This is the entry point where OLED actually makes sense.
• LG C5 — the step up most people end up wanting; brighter, better processing, and the best-rated of the bunch.
• Samsung S95F / S90H — for QD-OLED colour punch if you watch a lot of HDR.

If $400 is firm, a good mini-LED or QLED set will beat any OLED you can get at that price.
