Best toy deals for kids

No checked markdowns on kids' toys right now, so here are the best-value picks instead — nothing here is a discount, just good toys at low prices.

Top pick: Hot Wheels 8-pack of 1:64 cars. Eight cars in one box, a proven favorite with thousands of ratings, and the easiest way to make a kid's day for very little.

• Learning Resources Peekaboo Barnyard playset — for toddlers around 18 months; the only pick here that's genuinely marked down versus other stores.
• Hot Wheels Mystery Models car — a cheap single-car surprise for a small gift or party favor.
• Tonies Ms. Rachel Tonie — for ages 1+ who already have a Tonies box; screen-free listening.
• Warmies plush (Pink Penguin, Sloth, Marshmallow Bear) — microwaveable, lavender-scented comfort toys; the Pink Penguin is the standout value, the others suit kids who want a cuddly bedtime companion.
