Questions and answers
- Does Ancel run sales?
- Ancel discounts mostly show up around major shopping events like Black Friday and Prime Day, and through listings on Amazon and AliExpress. There is no fixed annual sale schedule, so check the deal listings on this page for current markdowns.
- Where is Ancel cheapest?
- Marketplace sellers on AliExpress and Amazon usually undercut specialty tool shops on Ancel scanners. Compare the same model across stores, since bundle contents and firmware versions differ between listings.
- Which Ancel scanner is best for a home mechanic?
- The AS200 suits basic engine code reading and emissions checks on most OBD2 cars. The Echo Bluetooth adds all-system diagnostics through a phone app, which covers ABS, airbag and transmission modules that the AS200 does not reach.
- What is the difference between the BD310 and the Echo?
- The BD310 is a compact handheld reader aimed at quick fault-code checks and simple live data. The Echo is a Bluetooth dongle that relies on the Ancel app for full-system scans and graphing.
- What is Ancel's return policy?
- Returns follow the policy of the store you buy from, not Ancel directly. Amazon and AliExpress each set their own return windows, so confirm the seller's terms before ordering.
