Questions and answers
- When does Bataleon run sales?
- Bataleon and its retailers usually discount boards and bindings at the end of the season, roughly February through April, and again around Black Friday. Off-season prices on last year's graphics are often the lowest. Check the price history on each product page to see whether a current price is above or below its usual level.
- Where is Bataleon cheapest?
- There is no single cheapest store; it varies by model, size and season. Deal.ai compares every store's price for each Bataleon product, so open the product page to see the current lowest offer and how it compares with past prices. Sizes sell out, so the lowest price may not be available in your size.
- What is Bataleon known for?
- Triple Base Technology: the base is split into three sections with lifted edges at the tip and tail, which reduces edge catch and makes turns feel looser. Boards like the Thunderstorm use it for all-mountain riding. The trade-off is a base that needs proper tuning and can feel less locked-in on hard ice than a flat camber board.
- What are Bataleon's best products?
- The Thunderstorm is a popular all-mountain board, and the Blaster AW FASE bindings are a freestyle-oriented pair with Bataleon's FASE mounting system for fast setup. Which board suits you depends on terrain: park and freestyle riders tend to prefer softer, twin shapes, while freeride riders want stiffer, directional boards.
- What is Bataleon's return policy?
- Returns depend on the store you buy from, not on Bataleon itself, so check the retailer's policy before ordering. Most shops accept unused boards and bindings in original packaging within a set window, often 30 days. Mounted or ridden gear is usually not returnable.
