C. Crane deals
C. Crane is a small California company known for radios built around weak-signal reception: the CCRadio line for AM/FM and NOAA weather, and the CC Skywave line for portable shortwave listening. Its catalog is narrow and rarely discounted, so the page currently shows no live deals. The two products listed are the CCRadio Solar with Bluetooth, an emergency crank radio with weather bands, and the CC Skywave SSB 2, a compact multiband receiver with single sideband.

Questions and answers
- Does C. Crane run sales?
- Discounts are infrequent and usually tied to the holidays or to discontinued models. C. Crane sells mostly at list price through its own site and a short list of authorized dealers, so a real markdown is worth checking against the usual price.
- Where is C. Crane cheapest?
- C. Crane's own site and authorized dealers such as Amazon usually sit within a few dollars of each other. Buying from an unauthorized seller can void the warranty, so compare the total with shipping before chasing the lowest listing.
- What is C. Crane best known for?
- AM reception and weak-signal tuning. The CCRadio models use large ferrite antennas and selective filters for distant AM stations, and the CC Skywave line packs AM, FM, weather and shortwave into a pocket-sized radio.
- What is the difference between the CCRadio Solar and the CC Skywave SSB 2?
- The CCRadio Solar is a larger emergency radio with a crank, solar panel, Bluetooth and NOAA weather alerts. The Skywave SSB 2 is a compact travel receiver that adds shortwave and single sideband reception but has no crank or solar charging.
- What is C. Crane's return policy?
- C. Crane accepts returns within 30 days of delivery on radios bought directly from it, with the unit in resalable condition; return shipping is generally the buyer's cost. Defective units are repaired or replaced under a one-year warranty.
