- When does Kobo put its e-readers on sale?
- Kobo discounts its e-readers most often around Black Friday, Prime Day-style mid-year events, and Mother's Day. New models rarely drop in price in their first months, so the older Clara and Libra generations are the usual sale targets.
- Where is the cheapest place to buy a Kobo?
- Kobo's own site and major retailers like Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy all carry the same models, and prices usually match. Rakuten and Best Buy sometimes undercut on older models. Check each store's price history on this page before buying, since a low price at one store often lasts only a few days.
- What are Kobo's best products?
- The Libra Colour is the standout for most readers: a 7-inch color screen, page-turn buttons, and IPX8 waterproofing. The Clara Colour is the cheaper compact pick, and the Sage suits people who annotate with a stylus. The Elipsa 2E is the large-screen option for PDFs and note-taking.
- Can I borrow library books on a Kobo?
- Yes. Kobo e-readers have OverDrive built in, so with a library card you can borrow EPUB and audiobook titles directly on the device in the US, Canada and several other markets. Kindle requires a separate step through Libby or Amazon, so this is Kobo's main advantage.
- What is Kobo's return policy?
- Kobo's own store allows returns within 30 days of delivery for a refund, and the device must be in good condition with its accessories. Retailers like Amazon and Best Buy follow their own return windows, which are often shorter, so check the store you buy from.
- Are there Kobo discount codes?
- Deal.ai doesn't list Kobo discount codes. It checks what Kobo products actually cost at every store, so a real markdown shows on this page as a deal as soon as it starts, and each product's page has its price history to tell a sale from its usual price.
