Questions and answers
- When does National Hardware go on sale?
- National Hardware is a hardware brand rather than a store, so discounts come from retailers. Watch home centers around spring fencing and gate season and holiday weekend sales. This page shows no live deals right now.
- Where is National Hardware cheapest?
- Prices vary by retailer and by finish, so compare the same model number across home centers and online sellers. Bulk packs and contractor packs usually cost less per piece. No prices are listed on this page.
- What is National Hardware best known for?
- Gate hardware: latches, hinges, anti-sag kits and gate frames, plus barn-door and sliding-door hardware. Its automatic gate latch closes and latches a gate on its own, and the anti-sag kit adds diagonal bracing to keep a wooden gate square.
- What does the Anti-Sag Gate Kit include?
- It is a turnbuckle-and-cable kit that runs diagonally across a gate to stop it dropping. You tension the cable after hanging the gate. It suits wood gates and works with most gate frames.
- What is the return policy on National Hardware products?
- Returns go through the retailer you bought from, not the brand, so the store's return window and receipt rules apply. Keep the packaging and receipt until the hardware is installed and working.
