Questions and answers
- When does NeverFreeze run sales?
- There are no live deals on this page right now. Snow-melting mats usually see discounts in late summer and early fall, before the first freeze, when demand is lowest.
- Where is NeverFreeze cheapest?
- Deal.ai compares every store's price for each mat, so check the price history on the product page before buying. The 34 sq. ft and 156 sq. ft mats are separate SKUs and are priced independently.
- What sizes does NeverFreeze offer?
- Both mats are 24 inches wide and run at 40W per square foot on 240V. The 34 sq. ft mat is 17 ft long and draws 5.6A; the 156 sq. ft mat is 78 ft long and draws 26.3A.
- How much power does a NeverFreeze mat need?
- The 156 sq. ft mat draws 26.3A at 240V, which needs a dedicated 30A or larger circuit. The 34 sq. ft mat draws 5.6A and can share a 15A circuit, but check your panel before installing.
- What is NeverFreeze's return policy?
- Return terms are set by the store you buy from, not by NeverFreeze, so confirm the window and whether opened mats can be returned before ordering. Electrical goods are often excluded once installed.
