Oxford Diecast Sale Tracker, November 2026

Questions and answers

When does Oxford Diecast go on sale?

Oxford Diecast models are discounted most often around model and hobby shop sales, Black Friday and the run-up to Christmas. New tooling releases rarely drop in price early, so older castings are the better bet for a markdown.

Where is the cheapest place to buy Oxford Diecast models?

It varies by model. Hobby specialists and online diecast retailers usually undercut general marketplaces on standard releases, while marketplaces win on older or clearance stock. The page compares every store's price for each model, so check the listing for the current lowest.

What are Oxford Diecast's best-known products?

Its 1/76 and 1/87 diecast cars, vans and buses, including the Oxford Automobile Company range and TV and film tie-ins. The 1/87 DeSoto Suburban taxi from The Godfather is a typical example: a small-scale movie replica aimed at collectors.

What scale is the Godfather DeSoto taxi model?

It is 1/87 scale, also called HO, which suits model railway layouts and shelf displays. At that size it is small, roughly 2.5 inches long, so detail is finer and more delicate than in larger scales.

What is the return policy on Oxford Diecast models?

Returns are set by the store you buy from, not by Oxford Diecast. Most retailers accept unopened models within 14 to 30 days, but check the individual store's terms before ordering, especially for limited or clearance items.

Are there Oxford Diecast discount codes?

Deal.ai doesn't list Oxford Diecast discount codes. It checks what Oxford Diecast products actually cost at every store, so a real markdown shows on this page as a deal as soon as it starts, and each product's page has its price history to tell a sale from its usual price.
