Steelcase deals
Steelcase is an office furniture maker known for ergonomic task chairs sold through authorized dealers and its own store. This page currently has no live deals, so both chairs are listed at their standard prices. The Series 1 is the entry-level ergonomic chair, while the Gesture is the higher-end model with adjustable arms that support multiple postures.

Questions and answers
- When does Steelcase run sales?
- Steelcase discounts most often around Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and occasional seasonal promotions, plus dealer-specific sales. Outside those windows, prices on the Series 1 and Gesture tend to hold at list.
- Where is the cheapest place to buy a Steelcase chair?
- Authorized dealers and Steelcase's own site usually match on list price, but dealers sometimes include free shipping or assembly. Compare the delivered price, since freight on a full chair can add a meaningful amount.
- What is the difference between the Series 1 and the Gesture?
- The Series 1 is Steelcase's lower-cost ergonomic chair with adjustable lumbar and arms. The Gesture costs more and adds arms that pivot and move with you, designed for people who shift between typing, phone, and tablet postures.
- What is Steelcase's return policy?
- Steelcase's own store generally allows returns within a set window, but policies differ for dealer purchases and for made-to-order configurations. Check the return terms on the specific listing before ordering, since shipping a chair back is costly.
