Steiff deals
Steiff is the German toymaker known for the button-in-ear tag, a mark it has put on its animals since 1904. Its Soft Cuddly Friends line is the machine-washable, baby-safe end of the range, and the Dormili Rabbit is a classic sleeping companion. No deals are live on this page right now, so all three products are listed at their standard prices.

Questions and answers
- When does Steiff run sales?
- Steiff discounts most often around Black Friday and in end-of-season clearances, and German retailers mark down older Soft Cuddly Friends models when a new colorway arrives. Outside those windows, prices on plush lines stay close to list.
- Where is Steiff cheapest?
- German and other EU retailers usually undercut US shops on the same plush, even after shipping, because Steiff prices are set in euros. US department stores and Amazon are the faster option but rarely the lowest.
- What is Steiff best known for?
- The button-in-ear tag and the classic 1920 Teddy bear. In the baby and toddler range, the Soft Cuddly Friends line is the main draw: machine-washable, no hard parts, and sized for small hands.
- Can Soft Cuddly Friends toys go in the washing machine?
- Yes. Steiff rates most Soft Cuddly Friends pieces for machine washing at 30°C on a gentle cycle, then air drying. Check the sewn-in label on the specific animal first, since a few have surface-wash-only trim.
- What is Steiff's return policy?
- Steiff's own online shop accepts returns within 14 days of delivery on unused items with the tag attached. If you buy from a retailer, that store's return window applies instead, so confirm it before ordering.
