Questions and answers

When does Westcott run sales?
Westcott discounts cluster around back-to-school season in July and August and around Black Friday in late November. Retailers like Amazon and Michaels also mark down Westcott trimmers and scissors during their own storewide events.
Where is Westcott cheapest?
Large marketplaces such as Amazon usually undercut craft-store shelf prices on Westcott trimmers and carving sets. Michaels and Joann run coupons that can beat online prices on single items, so compare the coupon price against the marketplace price before buying.
What is Westcott best known for?
Westcott is best known for scissors and paper trimmers. The TrimAir Titanium Guillotine Paper Trimmer is its flagship trimmer, with a titanium-bonded blade and a wire guard, and the CarboTitanium line covers craft knives and carving tools.
What is the difference between the two Westcott carving sets?
The 6pc Wood Carving Set is aimed at woodcarving, with shaped gouges and chisels for cutting wood. The CarboTitanium Carving Tools Set uses titanium-bonded blades and is pitched at general craft and detail work rather than heavy wood removal.
What is Westcott's return policy?
Westcott's own warranty covers manufacturing defects, and claims go through its customer service with proof of purchase. Returns and exchanges for change of mind follow the policy of the store you bought from, not Westcott itself.
