Questions and answers
- Does York Barbell run sales?
- York discounts mostly around Black Friday and the winter holidays, plus occasional clearance on discontinued bench and rack models. Outside those windows, prices on benches like the FTS Combo and STS Flat-to-Incline tend to hold steady.
- Where is the cheapest place to buy a York bench?
- York's own site is usually the reference price, and large retailers such as Amazon and Dick's Sporting Goods sometimes undercut it on the STS Flat-to-Incline. Compare the delivered total, since benches ship freight and handling can add $50 or more.
- What are York's best-known products?
- York is best known for Olympic barbells, cast iron plates and its old-school power racks. In benches, the FTS Adjustable Olympic Combo with Leg Developer is the popular pick because it covers flat, incline and leg work in one frame.
- What is York's return policy?
- York accepts returns on unused items in original packaging, typically within 30 days, and freight-shipped benches may carry a restocking fee. Check the current policy before ordering, and keep the pallet and boxes until you have assembled and inspected the bench.
- Is the York FTS Combo Bench worth it over the STS Flat-to-Incline?
- The FTS Combo adds incline adjustment and a leg developer, so it suits one-bench home gyms, but it takes more floor space and costs more. The STS Flat-to-Incline is the simpler, cheaper choice if you only press flat and at moderate inclines.
