Which box is better for a Burrow or Herbert rookie?

The 2020 box. Burrow is card 307 and Herbert is in the same 100-card rookie run, and rookies fall two per pack. The 2025 box has none of that class.

Is the 2020 box worth about $265 more?

Only if you want the 2020 rookie class. Both boxes average 2 autographs, 10 numbered Prizms, 1 Rookie Prizm and 24 rookies, so the extra money buys the class, not a bigger break.

Which box has better short-print inserts?

The 2025 box. It brings back Color Blast, Color Blast Duos and Manga in Horizontal and Vertical versions. The 2020 box's SSP chases are Stained Glass, Color Blast and Aurora.

Do both boxes have the same number of packs and cards?

Yes. Both are 12 packs of 12 cards, 144 cards per box, with 2 autographs on average.

Which holds value longer?

The 2020 box has five years of settled pricing behind it, so its floor is easier to judge. The 2025 box depends on how its rookie class performs.

Where is each box cheapest right now?
