Questions and answers
- Which is better for a small laundry closet?
- The wicker hamper. At 15" wide and 13" deep it slips into tighter spots than the VASAGLE's 24.8" length.
- Which holds more laundry?
- The VASAGLE. Its three sections total 31.7 gallons (120 L); the wicker hamper holds about 1.66 cu ft per section, roughly 5 cu ft total.
- Which is easier to carry to the washer?
- The VASAGLE, because all three bags pull out. On the wicker hamper the liners lift out, but the middle bag has no handle.
- Is the wicker hamper worth the price?
- Its lowest recent price was $66.49 on 2026-11-01, against a high of $247.50 on 2026-11-02, so watch the price. At the low end it is good value for a handwoven, lidded sorter.
- Does either come with a lid?
- Both do. The wicker hamper has a hinged lid; the VASAGLE has a flip lid.
- Which lasts longer?
- The wicker hamper's rattan and wood build should outlast fabric bags, which wear and stain. Buy spare liners for the wicker hamper; replacement bags for the VASAGLE are harder to source.
