Which is cheaper for a whole closet?

The Amazon Basics set. Three boxes cost $41.92 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, about $13.97 each. Three United Prime boxes would cost $36.00 at $12.00 each at United Prime Supplies as of the same date, so the United Prime route is actually cheaper per box if you buy three singles.

Which holds more clothes?

The Amazon Basics box states up to 4 linear feet of hanging space, which is a clear figure. The United Prime box gives no linear footage, and its listed dimensions conflict, so its real capacity is harder to judge.

Do I need to assemble them?

The Amazon Basics boxes require assembly, and a video and instructions are provided. The United Prime listing does not state assembly, so check the box on arrival.

Can I use them for storage, not just moving?

The United Prime box is listed for both moving and storage. The Amazon Basics box is listed for moving only, so it is the weaker choice for long-term closet storage.

Is the United Prime box worth the extra size?

It is not extra money per box, but its stated 24 x 21 x 46 in size is larger than the Amazon Basics 20 x 20 x 34 in. Measure your doorways and closet rod height before relying on that figure, since the listing also shows 20 x 20 x 34 in.
