Which set fits my Andis clipper?

The 4-comb set lists PM-T, PMT-2, D-4, D-5, GI, GTO, SLII and RT-1. The 7-piece set is for detachable-blade clippers. Check your model number before buying either.

Do I need the 7-piece set for fades?

No. Fades use the short guards, and the 4-comb set covers 1/16 to 3/8 inch. Buy the 7-piece set only if you also cut longer lengths.

Is the 7-piece set worth the extra money?

Only if you need guards from 1/2 inch to 1 inch or value the one-year warranty. For short cuts alone, the $7.79 4-comb set does the same job.

Both are plastic combs that wear the same way. The 7-piece set carries a one-year warranty; the 4-comb set states none.

Can I use the 4-comb set on other brands?

Not reliably. It is made for the listed Andis models, and the snap-on fit differs between brands.
