Questions and answers

Which door fits my rough opening?
The AP Products door is listed for a 26 x 72 inch rough opening. The Lippert door is listed at 24 x 72 inches. Measure your opening before ordering, because the Lippert door is non-returnable.
Is the Lippert door worth the extra $636?
Only if you want a motorized door and FMVSS 206 certification on the whole assembly. If you are fine with a manual door, the AP Products door does the same job for $742.00 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026.
Does either door include a screen door?
Both do. The AP Products door ships with a color-matched screen door. The Lippert door includes a screen door with an oversized push-down latch.
Which door is easier to install?
Both are right-hinge radius doors. The AP Products door includes its frame. The Lippert door adds a threshold and drip cap, but it is built to order and non-returnable, so a measuring mistake is costly.
Can I return the Lippert door if it does not fit?
No. Lippert states RV entry doors are built to order and non-returnable. The AP Products door is a standard retail purchase, so check the seller's return policy before you buy.
Do either have keyless entry?
No. The AP Products door lists no keyless entry. The Lippert door is motorized but the listing does not mention keyless entry.
