Which is better for watching video on a plane?

B, because 4G and the same 10.2-inch screen let you stream or download without hunting for Wi-Fi. A works too if you download shows in advance.

Is the new Wi-Fi model worth more than the refurbished cellular one?

A at $229.00 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is a known new price with full warranty. B has no listed price, so compare only if you need 4G and trust the open-box condition.

Do they have the same performance?

Yes. Both use the A13 Bionic with 256GB storage and the same 2160x1620 display, so apps and games run the same.

A, as a new unit, starts with a fresh battery. B is refurbished and open box, so its battery health is unknown and may be lower.

Can I use the UK model in the US?

B is a UK region Wi-Fi + Cellular unit. Check band support and the charger plug before buying; A is a US model with US warranty support.

Yes for most people. Both hold far more apps, photos and downloads than the 64GB base model, though heavy video editing still benefits from cloud storage.
