Is the GPS + Cellular model worth the extra over the GPS model?

Only if you regularly run, swim or train without your iPhone. Cellular adds a monthly carrier fee on top of the higher watch price. The GPS model at $239.40 covers the same health and fitness tracking.

Do both models have the same health features?

Yes. Both are Series 12 watches with ECG, hypertension notifications, sleep apnea notifications, blood oxygen, Vitals and sleep score. The difference is connectivity, not sensors.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates the Series 12 at up to 24 hours and up to 38 hours in Low Power Mode. Fast charging tops it up quickly. Cellular use shortens runtime.

Can I add cellular later to the GPS model?

No. Cellular hardware is fixed at purchase, so pick the GPS + Cellular edition up front if you want it.

Is $239.40 a good price?

It is the lowest daily price since November 3, 2026, and $150.59 below the $389.99 high that day. One store lists it new at that price.
