Which is better for a couple who want separate head and foot positions?

Both work as a Split King. The Ascension adds a remote sync option so one remote can move both sides together. The Marsail adds massage, which the Ascension lacks.

Is the Marsail worth saving about $5 over the Ascension?

The price gap is small, so pick on features. Take the Marsail for massage and presets. Take the Ascension for the 10-year warranty, USB ports and size choices.

Which has the better warranty?

The Ascension Luxe carries a 10-year limited warranty. Marsail does not state a warranty in its listed specs, so confirm coverage with the seller before buying.

Can I get the Ascension in a size other than Split King?

Yes. It comes in Twin XL, Full, Queen, Split King and Split Cal King. The Marsail is sold only as a Split King.

Which is easier to set up?

Ascension advertises 5-minute tool-free assembly, though some buyers found the instructions unclear. Marsail does not state assembly time or tools needed.

Do either have USB charging?

The Ascension Luxe has built-in USB charging ports. Marsail's listed specs do not mention USB ports.
