Which is better for a small apartment?

The Magic Union. At about 74 inches long and 48 inches deep it fits where the 128-inch Ashley will not, and its chaise can go on either side.

Which seats more people?

The Ashley. Its three pieces form a large sectional that seats four or more, while the Magic Union is a 3-seat couch.

Which is easier to clean?

The Magic Union. Faux leather wipes down with a wet cloth. Corduroy on the Ashley traps crumbs and needs vacuuming and spot cleaning.

Does either have storage?

Only the Ashley. It includes built-in storage; the Magic Union has none.

Is the Magic Union worth it over the Ashley?

Only if space or budget is tight. The Ashley gives you far more seating and storage; the Magic Union wins on size, price and reversible chaise.

Hard to say without long-term data. The Ashley has a reinforced frame and the Magic Union a hardwood and metal frame; faux leather tends to wear faster than corduroy but is easier to maintain.
