Which is better for wide feet?

The Gel Resolution 9. It is sold in a wide 2E fit, and the X lists only standard widths in sizes 7 to 15.

Is the Gel Resolution X worth the upgrade?

It costs less at the listed stores and adds FlyteFoam and a 6-month outsole guarantee. If you do not need a wide fit, the X is the better buy.

Which lasts longer on clay?

The X has a 6-month outsole guarantee, which the 9 does not list. Both use AHARPLUS rubber and PGUARD toe protection.

Do they fit the same?

Not exactly. The 9 comes in wide 2E, so it fits broader feet. The X is standard width, and its DYNALACING lets you tighten the midfoot.

The X is 16.1 oz in US 10.5. ASICS does not list a weight for the 9, so compare in store if weight matters.
