What reviewers say

Bambu Lab H2C

Reviewers treat the H2C as an efficient, deliberately engineered filament printer rather than a speed-focused one. The hotend-swapping design and low purge waste draw the most praise, while US availability is the main complaint.

Pros
  • Less material waste
  • Cleaner multi-material transitions
  • Deliberately engineered workflow
  • Efficiency-focused design
Cons
  • Not available for purchase in the US at present

Questions and answers

Is the Laser Full Combo worth $350 more?
Only if you will cut or engrave. If you print only, the plain H2C does the same printing for $350 less.
Do both print the same materials?
Yes. Both use the Vortek hotend swap system, 350 °C nozzles and a 65 °C heated chamber, and both support AMS scaling to 24 filaments.
Can I add the laser to the plain H2C later?
Bambu Lab lists the 10W/40W laser and cutting module as an optional add-on for the H2C, so you are not locked out.
Which one fits a normal US outlet?
The plain H2C draws up to 1,000 W at 110 V. The Laser Full Combo draws up to 1,800 W, so check your circuit before buying.
Which lasts longer?
The printing parts are the same on both. The laser tube in the combo is the extra wear item, so the plain H2C has less to maintain if you do not need it.
