Are these the same carpet cleaner?

They are the same ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro platform with the same dual brushes, CleanShot pretreater and 30-minute Express mode. The 3588F adds a 35-foot cord and the FreshStart dirt tank; the bundle has a 25-foot cord and antimicrobial brushes.

Which is better for pet stains?

Both handle pet stains the same way: CleanShot pretreater with OXY, dual DirtLifter brushes and suction extraction. The 3588F's FreshStart tank helps with lingering odors in the machine itself.

Is the bundle worth the savings?

At $198.00 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 versus $237.97 at Amazon for the 3588F, yes, unless you need the longer cord or the odor-control tank. The $69.99 low on November 1, 2026 shows it can go much lower.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

About 30 minutes in Express Clean Mode on both, per BISSELL. MAX Clean Mode uses more water and takes longer to dry.

Neither is clearly more durable. Both share the same build, and bundle reviewers report leaks, burning smells and belt failures; belts on both require taking the machine apart to replace.

Do I need a steamer instead?

No. Neither uses steam. They spray solution, scrub with brushes and extract with suction, which is what removes embedded pet dirt and urine.
