Questions and answers
- Which is better for pet stains on carpet?
- The BISSELL. Its Steam Pretreat mode is built for stuck-on pet messes, and it extracts across a full upright path. The INSE can spot-clean but has no steam.
- Is the BISSELL worth the extra money?
- If you clean whole rooms of carpet regularly, yes. At $299.99 versus $79.90, you pay for steam, a 1-gallon tank, a 30-minute dry mode, and a 5-year warranty.
- Which is better for stairs and car seats?
- The INSE, because it is handheld and light. The BISSELL can do stairs with its Tough Stain tool but is bulky to carry.
- Which cleans a large room faster?
- The BISSELL. Its wide upright path and 1-gallon tank cover a room in fewer passes than the INSE's 6-inch path.
- How long does each take to dry?
- The BISSELL has a Quick Dry mode rated at about 30 minutes. The INSE has no quick-dry mode, so carpet stays damp longer.
- Which lasts longer?
- The BISSELL carries a 5-year limited warranty against the INSE's 1-year parts warranty, and it is built for regular whole-room use.
