Questions and answers
- Which is better for hot sleepers?
- The Brooklinen cotton percale. It breathes and wicks better than polyester microfiber, which tends to trap heat.
- Which lasts longer?
- The Brooklinen set. Cotton percale holds up over many washes, while budget microfiber often pills and thins sooner.
- Is the Brooklinen set worth the extra money?
- If you sleep hot or want bedding that lasts years, yes. If it is for a guest room or a kid's bed, the Utopia set does the job for far less.
- Will the Utopia set fit a thick mattress?
- Yes. Its deep-pocket fitted sheet is made for mattresses up to 21 inches with all-around elastic.
- Does the Brooklinen set come in colors other than white?
- This listing is solid white. Brooklinen sells other colors and prints, but this set is white.
- Which is easier to care for?
- The Utopia set. Microfiber dries fast and resists wrinkles. Cotton percale needs a bit more care and may wrinkle.
