Which is softer, the Charter Club or the American Soft Linen?

The American Soft Linen is the softer bet. It is 600 gsm zero-twist Turkish cotton, and reviewers consistently praise its softness. The Charter Club is described as ultra-plush cotton but is lighter in weight.

The American Soft Linen has double-stitched long sides and reviewers say it washes well over months, but some arrived frayed. The Charter Club has a larger rating base and no recurring durability complaints, so it is the safer pick on consistency.

Is the American Soft Linen set worth it over one Charter Club towel?

If you need towels for a full bathroom, yes. You get four bath towels plus two washcloths, versus one towel. If you want one oversized organic towel and the lowest single price, the Charter Club wins.

Does the purple American Soft Linen towel match the photos?

Often not exactly. Several reviewers say the purple is lighter than pictured, and some received the wrong color. Wash it separately the first few times because the dye can bleed.

The Charter Club is bigger per towel at 30 x 56 in versus 27 x 54 in for the American Soft Linen bath towels.

Which is better for sensitive skin?

Both are 100% cotton. The Charter Club is organic cotton; the American Soft Linen is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which means it was tested for harmful substances. Either is a reasonable choice.
