Which is better for side sleepers?

The Cool Gel Ultimate's medium-soft 3.5-inch top layer cushions shoulders and hips more. The Sweetnight's medium feel with 5-zone support is a safer pick for back and stomach sleepers.

Both use cooling gel foam. The Cool Gel Ultimate adds a ventilated top layer, which is the more specific cooling design of the two.

Neither listing gives a warranty or foam density for the base. The Sweetnight has far more owner ratings, so its long-term record is easier to judge.

Is the Cool Gel Ultimate worth the extra?

At $659.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it is only worth it if you want the thicker plush top. Check the Sweetnight's live price first, since none was provided.

Do both come in King?

Yes. The Cool Gel Ultimate is listed in King, and the Sweetnight comes in King plus Twin, Full, Queen and California King.
