Is the WH03242 worth extra for the wheel kit and warranty?

If you move the generator often or want a 3-year warranty, yes. The WH03342 is 90 lbs with no wheel kit listed, so moving it is harder.

How long do they run on a tank?

Both list up to 9 hours at 25% load on a 1.8-gallon tank. At half load or more, expect roughly half that.

Do they have CO shutdown?

Both have CO Alert technology and low-oil shutdown. CO Alert warns about carbon monoxide buildup; never run either one indoors.
