Which set compresses clothes better?

Eagle Creek, on paper. It has a dedicated compression zipper, while Bagail uses a double-zipper system and one shopper says the cubes don't truly compress.

Is the Eagle Creek set worth $9 more?

If you pack carry-on only and want a set that lasts, yes. If you just want to organize a checked bag, the Bagail pack does that for less.

Bagail. It comes in 4, 6 or 8-packs with shoe, laundry and toiletry bags. Eagle Creek's set is smaller and cube-only.

Which is better for a family trip?

Bagail, because the bigger packs let each person get their own cube and the shoe and laundry bags are included.

Do the Bagail cubes fit a carry-on?

Yes. The large cube is 13.75 by 12.75 by 4 inches, which fits most carry-ons, but the extra large at 17.5 inches is tight in smaller bags.

Eagle Creek has the better track record. Bagail has a report of a seam ripping when overfilled, so don't stuff it past the zip.
