Which is better for hot sleepers?

The Eddie Bauer. It is a plain woven cotton cover with no fill, so it breathes more than the Madison Park's polyester-filled comforter.

Which set gives more for the money?

The Madison Park includes a comforter as well as the cover and shams, so it is the fuller set. The Eddie Bauer is cover and shams only, but its price has run as low as $49.59.

The Madison Park's tufted cotton chenille has a plusher, textured hand. The Eddie Bauer is described as soft but crisp.

Do both fit a king bed?

Yes. Both list king shams, roughly 20x36 inches, and both are sold as 3-piece sets for adult beds.

Is the Madison Park worth the extra over the Eddie Bauer?

Only if you want the comforter and the tufted look. If you already own a duvet insert and prefer crisp cotton, the Eddie Bauer covers the job for less.

Which has better certifications?

The Madison Park is Oeko-Tex certified. The Eddie Bauer lists no certifications.
