Is there any performance difference between the LV5000 and LV5005?

No, the handheld unit is identical. Both offer 500 CFM air volume, 210 MPH air speed, and a 16:1 mulching ratio using a six-blade metal impeller.

How long does the battery last in the LV5005 kit?

The included 6.0Ah battery provides approximately 90 minutes of runtime on the lowest setting, but only about 15 minutes on high power.

Can I use a smaller EGO battery with the LV5000?

Yes, it works with any EGO 56V battery, but smaller batteries will result in very short runtimes due to the high power demand of the vacuum motor.

Is the LV5005 worth the extra $140?

It is worth it if you do not own a 6.0Ah battery or charger, as buying those components separately usually costs more than the $140 price gap.
