Which is better for an entryway?

The Findosom. Its 0.2 in pile clears doors, the TPE backing resists sliding, and it can be machine washed when mud comes in.

The Safavieh has a thicker 0.37 in polypropylene pile and a much larger track record of 11,175 ratings. The Findosom is washable, which helps it stay clean, but it is a thin low-pile rug.

Is the Safavieh worth the extra $16?

Only if you want a patterned, thicker rug for an indoor hallway or living room. If you need washability or outdoor use, the Findosom covers that for less.

Can the Findosom go outside?

Yes. It is listed for outdoor placement and high-traffic areas like patios and porches, and you can hose it down or vacuum it.

Does the Safavieh stay in place?

No non-slip backing is stated, so plan on a rug pad, especially on wood or tile floors.

Which is softer underfoot?

The Safavieh, with its 0.37 in pile. The Findosom is a 0.2 in low-pile runner, though buyers call it comfortable on bare feet.
