Which is better for gaming?

Both are fine for gaming. The GMMK 3 PRO lets you fit light or fast switches and tune actuation, while the BlackWidow V3 Mini's Razer Yellow switches actuate at 1.2mm with no setup. Pick the Razer for wireless, the Glorious for switch choice.

The GMMK 3 PRO's aluminum body and replaceable switches give it the longer service life. The BlackWidow V3 Mini's soldered switches and plastic case are harder to repair or upgrade.

Is the BlackWidow V3 Mini worth the extra money?

Only if you need wireless. At $199.99 at Best Buy as of November 8, 2026, it costs far more than the GMMK 3 PRO's $74.99 low, and the Glorious still needs switches and keycaps. If wireless is not required, the Glorious is the better value.

Do I need to buy switches and keycaps for the GMMK 3 PRO?

Yes. It ships as a barebones base with a cable and pullers, so budget for a switch set and keycaps on top of the keyboard price.

Can I use the BlackWidow V3 Mini with a Mac?

It is listed for PC and laptop use, so Mac support is not promised. The GMMK 3 PRO lists Windows, macOS, and Linux compatibility.

The GMMK 3 PRO's sound depends on the switches and gasket setup you choose, so you can build it quiet. The BlackWidow V3 Mini's Razer Green option is clicky and audible; the Yellow option is quieter.

Glorious GMMK 3 PRO 75% Barebones Keyboard vs Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed

Buy the Glorious GMMK 3 PRO if you want to pick your own switches, tune the feel, and keep the cost low. Buy the Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini if you need wireless and want a keyboard that works out of the box. The GMMK 3 PRO is barebones, so add the cost of switches and keycaps to its $74.99 low; the BlackWidow V3 Mini is $199.99 at Best Buy as of November 8, 2026, and has hit $89.99 since November 5.
