GTPLAYER ACE-PRO Gaming Chair vs Secretlab Titan Evo Small

The Secretlab Titan Evo (Small) is the better chair for most people who sit long hours. Its cold-cure foam, 4D metal armrests, 4-way lumbar and 165° recline are a step above the GTPLAYER's memory foam and linkage arms. The GTPLAYER ACE-PRO wins on one thing: a retractable footrest for reclining breaks. Build quality favors the Titan Evo's aluminum base and steel frame over the GTPLAYER's steel frame and PU leather. Owners of the GTPLAYER praise comfort and easy assembly but report a persistent smell and firmer foam than expected.

  • Choose the GTPLAYER ACE-PRO if you want a recliner with a built-in footrest for lounging and streaming breaks.
  • Choose the Secretlab Titan Evo (Small) if you want the more adjustable, longer-lasting chair for daily work and gaming.

Questions and answers

Which is better for long work-from-home days?
The Titan Evo. Its cold-cure foam, 4-way lumbar and 4D armrests support posture through an eight-hour day better than the GTPLAYER's memory foam and linkage arms.
Which lasts longer?
The Titan Evo has the edge with an aluminum alloy base, steel frame and a 5-year extended warranty. The GTPLAYER's steel frame and PU leather hold up but owners report foam firming and a lingering smell.
Is the footrest worth stepping up to the GTPLAYER?
Only if you recline often for streaming or breaks. The footrest is the GTPLAYER's main advantage; the Titan Evo beats it on adjustability and materials.
Which is better for a smaller person?
The Titan Evo Small, which is sized for smaller frames. The GTPLAYER comes in one size and may fit taller users better.
Does the GTPLAYER recline flat?
No. It reclines to 150°, enough for leaning back with the footrest out, but not flat. The Titan Evo goes to 165° with a multi-tilt mechanism.
Is the Titan Evo fabric or leather?
This version uses SoftWeave fabric, which breathes better than the GTPLAYER's PU leather but is harder to wipe clean.
