Which works with the Google TV Streamer 4K?

Only the AiRemotexs lists Google TV Streamer 4K support. The Gvirtue is listed for Chromecast with Google TV models only.

Which has the longer range?

The Gvirtue claims 39 feet against 26 feet for the AiRemotexs. Both figures are the sellers' own claims, and walls and furniture cut real-world range.

Is either an official Google remote?

No. Both are third-party replacements. Buyers on the Gvirtue listing noted it does not appear to be first party, and the AiRemotexs is sold under its own brand.

Which is easier to set up?

The AiRemotexs gives explicit steps: press the button on the back of your Google device, then hold Back and Home for 10 seconds until the LED flashes. The Gvirtue listing does not describe pairing.

Do they use the same batteries?

No. The Gvirtue takes AA batteries and the AiRemotexs takes two AAA. Neither includes batteries.

There is no independent durability data for either. The AiRemotexs claims a 50,000-press rating, and some Gvirtue buyers worried third-party remotes break quickly.

Gvirtue Voice Remote Replacement for Google TV vs Voice Replacement Remote Control for Chromecast-Google-TV 4K/HD, for Google-TV-Streamer-Remote 4K

Both are third-party voice remotes for Google TV devices, and neither is an official Google remote. The Gvirtue is the safer pick for a Chromecast with Google TV owner who wants a cheap spare, since it lists the specific Google model numbers GA01409-US, GA01923-US and GA01919-US. The AiRemotexs adds Google TV Streamer 4K support and a longer stated range, but it has no written warranty. Check current prices on both listings before buying, since neither price was supplied.
