Which is better for 4K gaming?

The HP OMEN 35L. Its RTX 5080 is a much faster card than the RTX 5070, and 64GB of DDR5 plus a 2TB SSD support large game installs and heavy multitasking.

Is the ABS Cyclone Aqua worth saving $1,050?

If you play at 1080p or 1440p and don't need 4K, yes. The i9-14900KF is strong, but the RTX 5070 and 32GB of DDR4 will trail the OMEN in demanding titles.

Which has more room to upgrade?

The OMEN 35L. It uses a tool-less, industry-standard form factor with OMEN components, while the ABS uses an mATX B760M board, DDR4 memory and a 650W PSU.

Which is better for video editing and streaming?

Both handle it, but the OMEN's 64GB of DDR5 and RTX 5080 give more headroom for 4K timelines and GPU encoding. The ABS's 24-core i9-14900KF is strong for CPU-bound exports.

Do both include Windows 11?

Yes. Both ship with Windows 11 Home preinstalled.

Buyers of the OMEN 35L praise its noise level and heat dissipation. The ABS uses a 240mm liquid cooler, but its 3-out-of-5 rating from 21 ratings is less reassuring.
