Will the Hunter Douglas bracket fit a generic Roman blind?

No. It is made for Hunter Douglas Vignette Modern Roman shades and will not fit a standard 35mm headrail. Use the spring fitting pair for those.

Will the spring fitting brackets fit my Vignette shade?

No. They are sized for 35mm Roman blind headrails, not the Hunter Douglas Vignette profile. Buy the Hunter Douglas bracket instead.

How many brackets do I need per shade?

Hunter Douglas recommends replacing all brackets on a shade at once, so count the existing brackets and buy that many. The spring pair covers two mounting points; larger packs cover more.

Which is better value?

The spring pair at $10.99 for two is far cheaper per bracket than $22.49 for one Hunter Douglas bracket. The Hunter Douglas part is only worth it if it is the one that fits your shade.

The painted metal Hunter Douglas bracket should outlast the plastic spring bracket, especially under a heavy shade. The plastic pair is fine for light Roman blinds.

Can I use face fix mounting with both?

Face fix is listed for the spring fitting pair. The Hunter Douglas bracket is a direct replacement for the original Vignette mount, so match how your shade was installed.
