The iBUYPOWER Slate. The Ryzen 9 9900X3D is built for gaming, and the RTX 5070 12GB is a named card, while the Aurora's GPU model is not stated.

Which has the better CPU for multitasking?

The Alienware Aurora. Its 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265F has far more cores than the 9900X3D, which helps in rendering, compiling and heavy multitasking.

Is the Aurora worth $2,684.00?

Only if you need the 20-core Intel CPU. For gaming, the Slate's hardware is better matched to the price, so check the Slate's current store prices before paying $2,684.00 at Best Buy.

Which is easier to upgrade?

Neither listing gives upgrade details. The Slate names its GPU and cooler, which makes parts easier to identify, but confirm case and PSU clearance before buying either.

Do both include Wi-Fi and peripherals?

The Slate is listed as Wi-Fi Ready and includes a keyboard and mouse. The Aurora listing does not state wireless or included accessories, so confirm before buying.

The Slate's stronger gaming CPU and named GPU should stay useful longer for games. The Aurora's 20 cores age better for CPU-heavy work. Neither listing gives a warranty length.
