Questions and answers
- Which is better for photos?
- The iPhone 15 Pro. It has a 48MP main sensor, a telephoto lens, an ultrawide lens and LiDAR for low-light autofocus. The 16e has a single 12MP main camera.
- Is the 15 Pro worth the extra over the 16e?
- At $524.99 new at Plug as of November 3, 2026, the 15 Pro is priced like a mid-range phone but has flagship hardware. If the 16e costs close to that, the 15 Pro is the better buy unless you need the longest update runway.
- Which lasts longer?
- The 16e, on software. It is a newer model, so it should get iOS updates for more years. The 15 Pro's battery will also degrade sooner if it has prior use.
- Does the 15 Pro have a better screen?
- Yes. It has a 6.1-inch OLED with ProMotion up to 120Hz, 2000 nits peak brightness and an Always-On display. The 16e's 6.1-inch Super Retina panel is standard refresh.
- Which is better for gaming?
- The iPhone 15 Pro. The A17 Pro chip and 120Hz display give higher frame rates and smoother motion than the A16 in the 16e.
- Is the 15 Pro new or refurbished?
- Plug lists it as new at $524.99 as of November 3, 2026, and backs it with a 12-month Plug warranty.
