Which is better for storing boots?

The acrylic 5-pack. Its XXXL cases are marketed for boots and stand 33 cm tall, while the IRIS box is sized for shoes up to men's size 13.

The IRIS set, at $34.99 to $49.99 since November 1, 2026. No price was given for the acrylic 5-pack, so check current store prices before deciding.

The acrylic cases should hold up better. Acrylic is more rigid and resists scratching and yellowing better than the IRIS plastic, which also needs assembly.

Both stack. The IRIS boxes stack as a modular shoe system and slide under beds; the acrylic cases stack with magnetic lids on top.

Is the acrylic 5-pack worth the extra weight?

If you display helmets, figures or tall boots, yes. At 11.54 kg for the pack, plan a fixed shelf rather than moving it often.

Which fits under a bed?

The IRIS box. At 15.63 in high it fits under most beds; the acrylic case is about 13 in tall but 17.7 in deep and heavier.
