Are these the same lamp?

Effectively yes. Both are the 27-inch Lava Grande with a silver aluminum base, purple liquid and a 100-watt bulb. The brand line and the wax color wording are the only differences.

Product B. It is $114.99 at Surprise Castle as of November 3, 2026, against $149.99 at M-Theory Music for Product A.

Is the wax pink or yellow?

Product A says pink wax throughout. Product B's name says pink but its description and highlights say yellow, so confirm the color with the store before ordering B.

Expect the same life from either. Same glass globe, aluminum base and 100-watt bulb, so bulb replacement and careful handling matter more than the model.

Is the bigger lamp worth it over a 14.5-inch one?

The Grande is the largest Lava makes at 27 inches and 250 ounces of liquid, so it makes a stronger focal point. It also needs more clearance and a 100-watt bulb.

Does either need assembly?

No. Both ship with the base, cap and a 100-watt bulb, and plug into a standard 120-volt outlet with an on/off switch.
