Is 8 GB of RAM enough on the Acer?

For browsing, email, and documents, yes. For many tabs, large spreadsheets, or video editing, no. The memory is soldered, so you cannot add more later.

Which lasts longer on a charge?

The Acer. Its 70Wh battery is rated for 19 hours of video playback. The Lenovo has a 60Wh battery, and its listing states only 2 hours.

Is the Lenovo worth $120 more?

Yes if you need 16 GB of RAM and a 15.3-inch screen, since neither can be upgraded later. If you mostly browse and write, the Acer saves you $120.

Can I upgrade the storage on either?

The Lenovo has a free M.2 slot for a second SSD. The Acer lists a 512 GB SSD but no spare slot, so plan on external storage.
