LG 77" C6 Series 4K UHD OLED AI Smart webOS 26 TV, OLED77C6HUP vs LG OLED77C5KIT1 OLED evo AI 4K Smart TV
Both are 77-inch LG OLED evo sets with four HDMI 2.1 ports and 4K 120Hz panels, so the picture experience is close. The C6 is the newer model with the Alpha 11 Gen3 processor, webOS 26, and a 2.2-channel speaker system; the C5 is the prior generation and lists a 144Hz refresh rate. Buy the C6 unless the C5 is meaningfully cheaper, since the newer chip and platform age better.

Questions and answers
- Is the C6 worth the extra over the C5?
- If the price gap is small, yes. The C6 adds the Alpha 11 Gen3 processor, webOS 26, and confirmed Dolby Vision and Atmos. If the C5 is much cheaper, the picture difference is modest.
- Which is better for gaming?
- The C5 lists 144Hz, which is higher than the C6's 120Hz native rate. Both have four HDMI 2.1 ports and VRR, so either works well with a PS5 or Xbox Series X.
- Which has better sound?
- The C6 has a specified 2.2-channel system with Dolby Atmos. The C5's audio setup is not listed, so the C6 is the safer pick if you skip a soundbar.
- Do both support Dolby Vision?
- The C6 explicitly supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The C5 listing only says HDR, so confirm Dolby Vision before buying if that matters to you.
- Which lasts longer?
- Both use OLED panels with similar lifespans. The C6's newer platform will likely receive software updates longer, which matters more than panel wear for most buyers.
